Job Title: Technical Engineer

Pharmavite is seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing products and processes by establishing process capabilities, required controls, and ensuring adherence to standards through continuous verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage data and analytical mindset to draw insights on our products.
  • Develop and execute qualification and change management activities across the manufacturing network.
  • Design and execute experiments in both a laboratory and manufacturing setting.
  • Work across all dosage formats and packaging to develop a fundamental understanding of engineering principles and their applications across our product portfolio.
  • Participate in focused improvement activities as prioritized through respective dosage format teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is an engineer who is eager to learn multiple dosage forms, develop a foundation of engineering principles, and continuously improve existing processes within nutraceutical manufacturing.

  • Statistical understanding to establish appropriate specifications and process guard rails to ensure a reliable/repeatable process.
  • Analytical mindset that leverages data to draw insights.
  • Leadership qualities to implement and champion change for assigned projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups to solve problems and influence internal and external groups.
Capabilities & Skills Required:
  • Fundamental principles of unit operations pertaining to chemical process operations, manufacturing/packaging equipment, and processing/testing laboratory techniques.
  • Firm foundation in chemistry, mathematics, pharmaceutics, and/or food science.
  • Solid foundation in oral and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented and able to effectively organize and develop plans; prioritize and execute actions.
  • Ability to make presentations and recommendations in assigned area.
  • Use of hand-held data collection devices and instrumentation.
  • 4-year college or university degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or another related science field.

Annual Pay: $66,625.00 - $100,040.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
