About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Lake Huron Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the region. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of excellence in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with consideration of age and population-specific needs
  • May be assigned as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, responsible for the section or department during their shift
Requirements
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
  • 2 years of experience as an RCP preferred
  • ACLS, NRP, and PALS certificates within 60 days of hire and maintain current
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
