Job Summary:

Lake Huron Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner II, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with consideration of age and population-specific needs.
  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • May be assigned as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor.

Requirements:

  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
  • 2 years of experience as an RCP preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a per diem position, working less than 19 hours per week on day shift. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays on rotation.
