Job Overview:

As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison within the IGTD business unit for designated suppliers, categories, and/or locations, spearheading initiatives to enhance the supply chain.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the selection of suppliers and evaluate make vs. buy strategies, ensuring alignment with category objectives to optimize supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with the Sustaining team to formulate business cases and initial project proposals to support supplier modifications.
  • Facilitate transitions to suppliers by providing specifications, ensuring compliance and complete implementation, and coordinating with Commercial Management for any necessary negotiations.
  • Develop Procurement deliverables as part of the project framework, including Sourcing Plans, Supplier Selection, and Release to Production.
  • Assist Commodity Management and Operations Buyers with updates on pricing in local systems, including the integration of negotiated price reductions.
  • Provide site-specific supplier data and business requirements to Global Commodity Management to aid in negotiations and supplier performance evaluations. Additionally, support Commercial Management in developing negotiation strategies and during the negotiation process as required.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Materials, Finance, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers in the Medical Device sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in supplier selection, management, negotiation, capacity planning, risk management, and handling multiple projects concurrently while meeting project deadlines.
  • Capability to fulfill the essential Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

Philips Transparency Details:

The salary range for this role is $81,000 to $116,000 annually. Actual base pay may vary based on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Additional compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives, may also be available. Employees can participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes generous PTO, a 401k plan with up to 7% matching, HSA contributions, stock purchase options, education reimbursement, and more.

At Philips, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role, as compensation decisions depend on the specific circumstances of each case.
