Client Relationship Manager

Position Summary
The Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving the company's success by optimizing the sales and marketing of supplier brands within designated off-premise accounts. This is achieved through consultative sales strategies, fostering robust relationships with key stakeholders, and effective planning, merchandising, and communication to meet both company and supplier goals.
This is a full-time role covering a designated route. Weekend work may be required based on customer needs and operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing consultative sales techniques and maintaining positive relationships with accounts to promote products within a defined area while operating a company vehicle.
- Overseeing inventory management through regular counts, product rotation, and the removal of near-expiry items.
- Building and sustaining positive partnerships with retail clients.
- Creating and executing sales promotions to boost distribution and product visibility, while continuously identifying new growth opportunities.
- Establishing promotional displays and conducting product sampling.
- Ensuring that marketing and sales materials are effectively showcased in retail locations.
- Securing optimal display positions for products, including primary displays and coolers, while placing all brand promotional materials to create a standout presence.
- Maintaining clear communication with delivery personnel and merchandisers to fulfill daily responsibilities and merchandising standards.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures.
- Operating vehicles and performing job duties safely in accordance with established guidelines.
- Participating in all required company meetings and taking initiative in personal development plans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous.
- Experience in the beverage alcohol industry and/or distribution is preferred.

- Must meet company motor vehicle record and insurability standards.

- Takes initiative to fulfill regular responsibilities and achieve objectives.
- Demonstrates proficiency with technology, including tablets, smartphones, and office software.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Occasionally lifts, pushes, or pulls items up to 70 lbs. (with or without assistance).
- Job duties are performed both inside and outside customer accounts.
- Occasional work in an office or warehouse environment is required.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions may occur.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation range: $60,000-$70,000 per year.
This position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
