Job Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the food service area, ensuring effective delegation of tasks related to inventory management, customer engagement, food preparation, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities may differ based on specific client needs and operational requirements.

COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this position is set at $19.50. This reflects Aramark's reasonable estimate of compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities


• Organizes and assigns daily tasks to the food service team, overseeing their completion

• Provides training and support to staff on their responsibilities, including food safety and customer service standards

• Prepares and assembles food items following established recipes and guidelines

• Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety protocols

• Sets up and maintains workstations, including preparation areas and service counters

• Cleans and sanitizes work areas post-service

• Serves food to patrons, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and anticipating their needs.

• Restocks food items to maintain appropriate inventory levels

• Complies with all alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification

• Upholds excellent customer service standards and maintains a positive attitude towards guests, clients, and colleagues.

• Demonstrates adaptability to meet customer needs and maintains a friendly demeanor

• Follows Aramark's safety protocols, particularly regarding food safety and sanitation

• Safeguards company assets

Qualifications


• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a similar environment is preferred

• Required experience in food service operations

• Must obtain food safety certification

• Demonstrates exceptional guest service skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting and inventory management is necessary

• Open to change, new processes, and constructive feedback

• Ability to build relationships with guests and team members

• Strong organizational skills to enhance operational efficiency

• Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting service timelines, and adapting to changes

• Maintains professionalism in daily responsibilities

• Must work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent guest service skills are essential

• Ideal candidates should be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
