Job Overview

The Food Service Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and delegating responsibilities within the culinary service environment, which includes managing inventory, ensuring exceptional customer service, and upholding food preparation and safety standards. COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this position is $19.50. This figure represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities


• Organizes and assigns daily tasks to the food service team while supervising task completion.

• Provides training and guidance to staff on their responsibilities, food safety protocols, and customer service practices.

• Prepares and assembles food items following standardized recipes and guidelines.

• Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety regulations.

• Sets up workstations, including preparation areas and service counters.

• Cleans and sanitizes work areas after service.

• Serves food to patrons, ensuring satisfaction and anticipating their needs.

• Restocks food items to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

• Complies with all alcohol service regulations, including verifying patrons' identification.

• Maintains a high standard of customer service and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.

• Adapts to customer needs while providing friendly and efficient service.

• Follows Aramark's safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation standards.

• Safeguards company assets.

Qualifications


• Prior supervisory experience in a relevant field is preferred.

• Required experience in food service.

• Must be able to achieve food safety certification.

• Strong guest satisfaction skills are essential.

• Basic knowledge of accounting and inventory management is necessary.

• Openness to change, new procedures, and constructive feedback is important.

• Ability to build relationships with guests and team members.

• Strong organizational skills to enhance efficiency.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks, meet service timelines, and adapt to changes.

• Consistent professionalism in daily responsibilities is expected.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent guest service skills are a must.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
