Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to perform excavation and grading tasks.
  • Lead a team of operators to ensure safe and efficient project completion.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience as a lead excavator operator in heavy civil construction.
  • Proven track record of safe and efficient project completion.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of operators.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment physical fitness and agility test.
