- Conduct pre-shift inspections and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- 3-6 years of experience as a lead excavator operator in heavy civil construction.
- Proven track record of safe and efficient project completion.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of operators.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment physical fitness and agility test.
