Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a DDC/BAS Controls Specialist. This role entails the successful design, startup, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC Direct Digital Controls projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement building automation systems.
  • Analyze and interpret schematics and blueprints for the startup and commissioning of HVAC Direct Digital Controls across various systems.
  • Proficiently utilize essential software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows, Visio, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, SiteBuilder, and Eikon.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems, Ethernet networks, and HVAC DDC I/O instruments.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues within DDC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop operational sequences and programming logic within control software.
  • Identify and resolve software and electrical installation issues.
  • Fine-tune control algorithms (PID's) for enhanced system performance.
  • Update and modify HVAC DDC system graphics, setpoints, addressing points, and documentation.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns to uphold high satisfaction levels.
  • Utilize office software tools for product and equipment ordering and tracking.
  • Collaborate with external system specialists to guarantee successful project outcomes.


Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, Windows-based systems, and Direct Digital Controls is essential.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or similar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
