Job Title: Regional Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Friendly Franchisees Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance tasks for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties in the San Fernando Valley region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Regional Maintenance Supervisor in managing maintenance tasks for multiple properties.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and landscaping as needed.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and building codes, regulations, and property standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify repair and maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, coordinating with the team to ensure quick resolution.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring work is completed to company standards and on time.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and vendors to ensure a smooth operation of all properties.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Travel to different properties within a 150-mile radius for inspections, repairs, and emergency tasks. Mileage will be compensated for all travel.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services.

Requirements:

  • Contract Certification in maintenance or a related field is required (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Basic MS Excel is required, Yardi software a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 150 miles per day and be flexible with working overtime, extended hours, and weekends.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Compensation:

  • $26-$32 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
  • Mileage will be compensated for all required travel.
  • Benefits available as per company policy.
