We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at WinnCompanies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of maintenance staff at various properties across California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage maintenance staff on a day-to-day basis, ensuring high standards of work quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff, as well as holding them accountable to operating standards.
  • Prepare work schedules for maintenance staff and vendors to complete service requests, and maintain the preventive maintenance program.
  • Conduct and participate in weekly staff meetings, and complete monthly building inspections to resolve maintenance repairs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects, and solicit bids from contractors with approval from the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
  • Participate in on-call activity during off-hours, emergencies, and hands-on maintenance activity.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of related work experience, including 5-8 years of supervisory experience.
  • A current driver's license in good standing, and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Highly skilled and knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills, solid verbal and written communication skills, and outstanding managerial and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational or technical training.
  • CAMT certification.
  • Experience with RealPage property management software.
  • HVAC, asbestos, or lead-based paint certifications.
