Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage maintenance staff on a day-to-day basis, ensuring high standards of work quality and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff, as well as holding them accountable to operating standards.
- Prepare work schedules for maintenance staff and vendors to complete service requests, and maintain the preventive maintenance program.
- Conduct and participate in weekly staff meetings, and complete monthly building inspections to resolve maintenance repairs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects, and solicit bids from contractors with approval from the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
- Participate in on-call activity during off-hours, emergencies, and hands-on maintenance activity.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5-8 years of related work experience, including 5-8 years of supervisory experience.
- A current driver's license in good standing, and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- Highly skilled and knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills, solid verbal and written communication skills, and outstanding managerial and coaching skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
- Vocational or technical training.
- CAMT certification.
- Experience with RealPage property management software.
- HVAC, asbestos, or lead-based paint certifications.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35.00 to $41.00, based on experience.
