About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of School Psychology to join our faculty at Alfred University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in our school psychology graduate program, supervising students in our campus-based training clinic, and maintaining a consistent and sustained record of peer-reviewed scholarship.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level courses in school psychology, including courses on assessment, intervention, and research methods.
  • Supervise students in our campus-based training clinic, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills in school psychology.
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in top-tier journals, contributing to the advancement of the field of school psychology.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and advising graduate students.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience teaching graduate-level courses in school psychology.
  • Strong research background and publication record in school psychology.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
