Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as an Assistant Professor of School Psychology in our APA-accredited PsyD and NASP-accredited specialist School Psychology Program.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in our school psychology graduate program, supervising students in our campus-based training clinic, and maintaining a consistent and sustained record of peer-reviewed scholarship.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level courses in school psychology
  • Supervise students in the campus-based training clinic
  • Advise graduate students and supervise doctoral dissertation committees
  • Participate in administration and scoring of graduate qualifying exams
  • Engage in graduate student recruitment and participate in university service
Requirements
  • Doctorate in School, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology
  • Licensed as a psychologist in NY or license eligible
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of school psychology

Our School Psychology program features a specialist-level program that is fully accredited by NASP, and a doctorate (Psy.D.) program that is fully accredited by APA. We aim to prepare uniquely qualified health professionals who promote the learning, behavior, and mental health of children and youth.
