Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures using diagnostic radiographic equipment
  • Utilize skills and abilities required for the age of the patient served, including routine, emergent, portable, surgical, and fluoroscopic examinations
  • Image processing and understanding of current RIS and PACS systems
  • Work under the supervision of a radiologist as needed and collaborate with radiologists on film quality assurance, exam clarification, and ECG procedures
  • Patient registration, patient scheduling, and file work
  • Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three years
  • Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Science or related field
About the Role

This is a float position that supports all medical offices in the North Service area with variable working hours and days. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, including clerical duties as required.

This position supports Cascade Park, Mill Plain One, Orchards, Salmon Creek, and Long View Kelso Medical Offices.

Primary Location: Washington, Vancouver, Cascade Park Medical Offices

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Shift: Variable

Workdays: Monday through Sunday

Working Hours Start: 7:00 AM

Working Hours End: 8:30 PM

Job Schedule: Full-time
