About the PositionThis per diem position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to achieve a healthy work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and cases, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to produce high-quality images.
Responsibilities- Prepare and perform standard x-ray examinations, including fluoroscopic procedures.
- Perform portable examinations and surgical x-ray procedures, adhering to radiation safety measures and AORN standards.
- Evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to exams and apply ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate or equivalent experience.
- ARRT-R certification or eligibility within 3 months of hire.
- Washington state Radiology Technologist licensure or Temporary X-Ray Technician Registration.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
