Building Construction Oversight Coordinator

The Housing Authority of New Orleans seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of our construction projects. This critical role requires a deep understanding of construction management principles, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with contract documents, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging employees to share ideas and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain expertise and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture; graduate degrees in business administration or related fields are beneficial.
A minimum of five years' experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed are required.
