Job Title: Senior Control System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control System Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement BMS/EMS systems for commercial and industrial facilities
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including sequence of operations and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and operation
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in the Controls and Instrumentation Industry, with a focus on BMS/EMS systems
  • Thorough knowledge of HVAC/electrical instrumentation design and building control sequence of operations
  • Knowledge of building IT/OT infrastructure and low-voltage sub-system integration
  • Understanding of smart building technology convergence and energy management systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Active involvement with industry organizations, such as ASHRAE and CABA
  • Experience with building analytical software platforms and energy management systems
