Job Summary

As a Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse Leader at Memorial Hermann Health System, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery and management of patient care
  • Care for patients from multiple services/specialties, including complex diagnoses
  • Utilize research to inform practice and improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
  • Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
  • Certified in Basic Life Support
  • Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
Experience and Skills
  • RN I: 0-1 year of experience
  • RN II: 1-3 years of experience
  • RN III: 3-10 years of experience
  • RN IV: 10+ years of experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
