Position: Content Creation Intern (Growth)

Acorns is on the lookout for an enthusiastic intern to develop original content for our social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google) in alignment with our core product initiatives, product launches, and innovative creative concepts. This dynamic role plays a vital part in the storytelling and expansion of the Acorns brand, reporting directly to the Social Media Director.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Within the first month, you will:
    • Get acquainted with the workflows of the design and growth teams, understanding how to navigate the organization.
    • Learn about Acorns' brand values and their application in our growth content while gaining insights into our customer demographics.
    • Communicate Acorns' brand and values through growth content.
    • Analyze the performance and perception of Acorns content on our growth channels, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and develop new creative strategies to enhance customer acquisition cost metrics.
    • Complete the onboarding process, including Acorns' Seedling Program.
    • Engage in a virtual coffee session with Acorns' CEO.
    • Participate in your first community-wide virtual all-hands meeting.
  • Within three months, you will:
    • Expand existing growth content strategies and establish ongoing initiatives that leverage Acorns' products and services.
    • Produce high-quality growth content weekly to enhance brand awareness and improve customer acquisition cost metrics.
    • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing teams to develop a comprehensive content rollout strategy that amplifies brand initiatives.
    • Work with your manager and team to prioritize new features, infrastructure, and tool development.
    • Engage in Acorns' Community & Heritage celebrations.
