Job Summary
Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care of assigned patients.
- Work under the supervision of the office manager, RN or clinical lead, and the physicians to provide hands-on clinical care.
- Utilize communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to create a care plan for each patient.
- Supervise and delegate non-professional personnel working directly with you to ensure optimum patient care.
- Float to multiple locations within the division providing support as needed.
Requirements
- Program Graduate, Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)
- Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Preferred)
- 1 year Nursing experience (Preferred)
- 1 year Outpatient medical office experience (Preferred)
- 1 year Experience in using electronic medical record (EMR). (Preferred)
- Less than 1 year Experience in collecting and processing specimens in lab. (Preferred)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire (Required)
