About the Role

Punch Bowl Social is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and selling private parties at our venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase private party sales
  • Responsible for generating private party sales through proactive and organic means
  • Participate in weekly meetings with management to set communication standards and expectations
  • Establish sales objectives and create sales plans and quotas
  • Achieve sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and analyzing variances
  • Grow relationships with current and new clients
  • Seek out convention and tourism business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on PR, sales, and marketing initiatives
  • Manage contracts and ensure effective execution of events
  • Communicate client requests effectively and ensure all required elements are scheduled and communicated with the team
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant event-specific sales
  • Extensive knowledge of the market
  • Experience in event operations
  • Ability to complete listed job responsibilities
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to accommodate a schedule based on volume
