Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and self-driven QA Engineer/Tester to join our team. As a QA Engineer/Tester, you will play a pivotal role in driving and collaborating on software development projects. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support on new and existing issues, ensuring the highest quality of our ad server implementations and digital advertising solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of technical support on new and existing issues, providing expert-level guidance to internal teams.
- Collaborate with technical teams to enable improvements in existing technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with ad servers and digital advertising platforms.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams for digital advertising issue resolution, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a technical role testing digital advertising and streaming.
- Experience with ad servers, video streaming, and mobile technology, including Programmatic ad stack technologies (Prebid, Open RTB, etc.).
- Experience working with development teams on testing and implementations within new products, preferably with FreeWheel.
- Proficiency in defect/project management tools like JIRA and Confluence, as well as testing tools like CharlesProxy and Wireshark.
- Experience with cable/satellite video headend environments, SCTE-104/ SCTE-35 content streams, dynamic ad insertion on VOD and live services, and harmonic video encoding products/yospace products is a plus.
