Job Description

Foundation Communities Inc is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in effectively managing the community and assuming the responsibilities of the Property Manager in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate resident records, post all rents, deposits, and fees, and all A/P functions as directed by the Community Manager.
  • Issue appropriate notices, such as late payments, evictions, and NSF checks.
  • Make daily bank deposits and prepare and update reports as delegated by the Community Manager.
  • Greets prospective residents, shows the community, and performs leasing functions as necessary.
  • Handle calls from residents and vendors as delegated and accept service requests and route to maintenance.
  • Conduct service follow-up with residents, inspect property, and report service needs to the Community Manager or Service Supervisor.
  • Inspect move-outs and vacant units as requested by the Community Manager.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Tax credit experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively is necessary.
  • Empathy and a commitment to providing excellent service to families and residents are required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • OneSite software experience is preferred.
  • Fair housing training is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the industry or in a position of similar responsibilities is preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly: walking, sitting at a desk, grasping/gripping, bending/stooping/squatting, finger dexterity, computer input, coordination of hand, eye, and foot.
  • Frequently: standing for long periods of time, climb stairs, twisting.
  • Occasionally: reach above shoulder height, lift 20-30 lbs., do push/pull motions, and driving.

Compensation:

$19.00/hour
