Property Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential property, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards and providing exceptional service to residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of community transactions, including annual budgets and income projections, rent rolls, and delinquency reports.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to secure prospective residents and maximize occupancy rates.
  • Train leasing staff in closing techniques and ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
  • Monitor and analyze traffic logs, conversion ratios, and marketing data to provide up-to-date information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure community appearance and repairs are completed on a timely basis and provide exceptional service to residents and staff.
  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures and notify the Safety Coordinator of any safety hazards.
  • Regular, on-time attendance and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of multiple PC software packages, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent office skills, including typing and proofreading.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and follow through on assignments with little direction.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate effective conflict resolution and customer service skills.
