Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Lorven Technologies. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the New Capital Introduction (NCI) process at our facility, working closely with various departments to ensure successful and cost-effective project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Facilities, Maintenance, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, EHS, accounting, and purchasing.
  3. Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks and resources to achieve desired outputs.
  4. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.
  5. Work with internal and external suppliers to plan and implement facility-wide projects.
  6. Ensure compatibility of new and existing assets/systems.
  7. Provide guidance and direction to other project owners for efficient and sustainable facility impacts.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  2. Minimum 10 years of foundry experience, including operation and manufacturing.
  3. Minimum 10 years of project management and leadership experience.
  4. Minimum 10 years of experience in sand reclamation projects.
Technical Skills:
  1. 10+ years of full-time work experience in USA foundry manufacturing and operation.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus.
  3. Knowledge of engine block casting and machining processes.
  4. Skills in project management, negotiating, and analytical thinking.
  5. Experience in should cost modeling, supply chain planning, supplier audits for Assembly, Test, and Paint.
  6. Conduct feasibility meetings.
  7. Proficiency in Windows Office 365 applications (Excel, Advanced Excel, PPT, Word).
  8. Experience with process improvement, layouts, flow, PPAP, and Advanced Manufacturing process.
Soft Skills:
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong negotiation skills and ability to respond in short turnaround times.
  3. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a matrix team structure.
