Overview

Sugarloaf is seeking skilled bartenders to enhance the guest experience at our 45 North location. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional drinks and providing top-notch service to our patrons.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer to effectively engage with guests and showcase our bar and food menu.
  • Stay informed about Sugarloaf and the surrounding area to provide accurate information and directions to guests.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including pre-shift and post-shift tasks, while ensuring accurate stocking and cleaning responsibilities during shifts.
  • Manage cash transactions, maintain accurate till balances, and calculate tip distributions with precision.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment by fostering effective communication with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 30 lbs without assistance is essential.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Candidates must either hold ServSafe certification or have the capacity to obtain it upon employment.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with TIPS training.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required is essential.
  • While previous experience is preferred, we are open to training individuals who are the right fit for the role.
