Job Description:

This role involves providing evidence-based services to children and their families in maintaining or improving their ability to function in the community and work toward their recovery goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistance, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education or early childhood intervention.

They should also have previous experience in the field of mental health or social services, preferably with a focus on working with children and adolescents. Strong knowledge of Medicaid policies and procedures is essential.

The selected candidate will work independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings. They must maintain valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and update Recovery Plans prior to due date
  • Develop appropriate Crisis/Safety Plans
  • Provide skills training with youth face to face
  • Assess individual needs and develop recovery plans

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.65 per hour, based on industry standards and location factors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience in mental health or social services
  • Valid Texas Driver's license and acceptable driving record
