Job Title: Government Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Contract Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all facets of government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on contract and task order regulations and requirements.
  • Maintain and update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government requirements.
  • Assist in the evaluation of RFPs and Task Orders and existing contract modifications/amendments for business and financial requirements.
  • Monitor primary project progress and partner/subcontractor performance to flag substantive or administrative problems and work with teams to outline corrective action.
  • Manage contract change control process and help prepare package for client submission and review.
  • Lead contract renewal process for various contracting vehicles.
  • Analyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Support contract and subcontract negotiations.
  • Work with Project Managers in creating purchase orders, subcontractor and vendor selection, travel compliance, and compliance with prime contract/task orders.
  • Oversee competitive bid process for outside partners and/or prepare justification memoranda for funding and implementation of inter-agency agreements or subcontracts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years' experience with government contracts & pricing.
  • Extensive working knowledge in GAAP, FAR, FTR, and government cost accounting standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of people across functional organizations within the company and the Government.
  • Knowledge of advanced functions in Excel.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000. Note: Salary range may vary based on factors such as market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, and qualifications.
