We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As an integral part of our Interventional Radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and computed tomography systems.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Assist physicians during procedures, providing necessary supplies and equipment.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
