Job Summary:

This is an entry-level role for professional structural engineering work, reporting to the Structural Departmental Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assignments designed to develop professional engineering work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
  • Design and analysis of heavy, multi-story industrial buildings (structural steel), equipment and building foundation analysis and design, pipe bridge design, equipment support design, and development of structural connection details.
  • Structural inspections and repairs (concrete & steel), pile and drilled shaft design, storage tank design, and corrosion investigation.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree (minimum), with a major in any of the following: Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis, Agriculture & Architecture with Structural Emphasis.
  • Ability to work under close supervision and receive specific and detailed instructions for required tasks and results expected.
