Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Designing, assessing, and enhancing electrical-mechanical systems for diverse instruments.
  • Supporting production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and maintaining automated processes.
  • Engineering electro-mechanical fixtures to improve production and assembly-line efficiency.
  • Engaging in design failure analyses, contributing to risk assessments, hazard analyses, and FMEAs.
  • Collaborating with the supply chain to identify and procure replacements for End-of-Life components.
  • Managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for electrical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and procedures, ensuring updates as needed.
  • Recommending equipment and subsystems to optimize both new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Working closely with Electrical and Software/Firmware teams.
  • Utilizing programming skills (e.g., Visual Basic, VBA, C, Python) and knowledge of serial communications (RS-232, I2C, SPI).
  • Having familiarity with regulatory compliance, EMI, and safety testing protocols is preferred.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Electrical Manufacturing Engineer position will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical, Systems, or Electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience in testing and systems engineering.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Proficiency in reading, creating, and modifying schematics.
