About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Associate to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Western Territory. As an E-commerce Associate, you will play a critical role in the success of our online sales platform, working closely with our Retail Team to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select high-value merchandise from our Adult Rehabilitation Center to sell on our e-commerce platform and supply physical stores with a steady supply of collectible merchandise.
  • Test items to confirm functionality or authenticity prior to posting, including electronics and jewelry.
  • Utilize third-party research software, Tera peak, and listing and shipping software, Sure Done, Ship Station, to efficiently manage our online inventory and shipping processes.
  • Assist with photography of items for sale to be displayed on our auction website.
  • Provide exceptional customer support via phone and email, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on all orders with customers in real-time, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
  • Meet daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets, as determined by your supervisor.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager, E-commerce Specialist Associate, and team members to drive the day-to-day operation of our e-commerce business.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated competency in skill areas, as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand both written and verbal instructions.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects, and move heavy objects, such as household and office furniture, packages, and bulk items.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
Schedule

Our stores operate 7 days per week, and work schedules are determined by Management. Full-time associates may be scheduled to work any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
