Hourly Rate: $28.07 Position is eligible for membership in the Teamsters Local Union No. 763 which is part of the Lake Washington School District Trades Bargaining Council No. 763 (TBC).

Job Summary:
Provides assistance to educators in delivering tailored and small group instruction for students across various educational levels, particularly those with physical or behavioral challenges or who are medically fragile. Aids in addressing students' specific health care requirements and fosters the development of daily living and behavioral skills. Supports staff in preparing the classroom environment and managing the use and organization of materials and resources. May oversee and assist students in various settings including libraries, classrooms, resource rooms, self-contained classrooms, playgrounds, or during transportation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must possess an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours, OR have successfully passed an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment with a score of 455 or higher, OR have achieved a score of 220 or higher on the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment. Official documentation will be required upon hire.

• Must successfully complete a criminal background check
