Position Summary:
Kranze Technology Solutions is in search of a skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of our advanced military hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Conduct independent cybersecurity engineering research and offer recommendations for the integration of security measures in our products.
  • Act as a bridge between end users, clients, software developers, and systems engineers to efficiently implement cybersecurity requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights and prototype solutions to developers to enhance product security.
  • Contribute significant content to the creation of cybersecurity documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM-related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification.
  • Experience in Linux systems administration.
  • Strong grasp of networking principles and standards.
  • Proficiency with routers, managed switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
  • Familiarity with contemporary encryption methods.
  • Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret DoD security clearance.
  • Experience with NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program.
  • Familiarity with NIAP protection profiles for cybersecurity components.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools for Android.
  • Knowledge of the Samsung Knox framework.
  • Experience with Data at Rest (DAR) techniques.
  • Experience with hardware root of trust and secure boot implementations.
