Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to become a vital member of our Information Security and Risk Management team. In this capacity, you will act as a bridge between our Retirement and Income Solutions (RIS) division and the Corporate Information Security department.

The RIS division encompasses various specialized business units, each offering distinct products, services, and engaging with a diverse array of vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies. This dynamic team addresses real-world security challenges, including incident management, customer security inquiries, compliance with regulations, audits, access control, data loss prevention, secure software development, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the DevOps Secure team by shaping and executing information security strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to address application vulnerabilities, focusing on resolving OWASP top 10 static analysis issues.
  • Collaborate on architectural risk assessments, manage exceptions to security policies, and work alongside engineering teams to develop remediation strategies.
  • Engage in pair programming and tackle complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Enhance your information security expertise, with opportunities to pursue relevant certifications.
  • Participate in various collaborative forums, such as daily huddles and architecture risk assessments, to identify risks and share insights.
  • Support research and collaboration efforts during security events and incidents.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (computer science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in information security engineering.
  • Experience in cloud security.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SAST, SCA, and CASB.
  • Experience in providing application consulting for security vulnerability remediation.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Fortify, Bitbucket, Service-Now, Jira, GitHub, Archer (GRC Tool), SharePoint, Confluence, Java, .NET, Docker, Python, Go, NodeJs, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ability to lead the design and implementation of security automation initiatives.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the financial services or insurance sector.
  • Certifications such as CISSP or CRISC.
  • Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Capability to make informed decisions in uncertain situations.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary ranges reflect targeted base salaries, with opportunities for participation in bonus programs. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level at the time of offer.
