Radiologic Imaging Specialist

The Radiologic Technologist performs a range of general diagnostic radiologic procedures, utilizing advanced imaging technologies to capture high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various imaging equipment, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
- Position patients for optimal imaging, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to operate equipment in the Operating Room, such as portable machines, c-arms, and Lithotripsy machines.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
- American Registry of Rad Techs (Required).
- Basic Life Support (Required).
- Cert Radiologic Technologist (Required).
- Rad Tech Fluoroscopy Permit (Required).
