Radiologic Imaging Specialist

The Radiologic Technologist performs a range of general diagnostic radiologic procedures, utilizing advanced imaging technologies to capture high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain various radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and computed tomography (CT) scanners.
- Position patients for optimal imaging, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and workflow efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and other relevant certifications as required.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of radiologic technology and imaging principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The Radiologic Technologist works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and other hazardous materials. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting patients, and operating heavy equipment.
