About the Role

As a Content Strategist at Twist Bioscience, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation through content management. This exciting role involves working closely with various teams to ensure accurate, engaging, and on-brand content is delivered across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Management:
    • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content according to our content calendar.
    • Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and aligned content that reflects our company's branding and messaging guidelines.
    • Manage multimedia content, including images, videos, and documents, to enhance user engagement.
  • CMS Administration:
    • Perform routine maintenance and updates on our CMS platform, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
    • Configure and customize CMS settings to optimize performance and usability, ensuring seamless user experiences.
    • Monitor website performance, user engagement, and content effectiveness, providing data-driven insights for improvement.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with marketing, design, and IT teams to develop and implement effective content strategies.
    • Coordinate with content creators and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
    • Assist in creating templates and layouts to enhance content presentation and overall visual appeal.
  • SEO and Analytics:
    • Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings, driving organic traffic to our platforms.
    • Use analytics tools to track content performance and user behavior, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to team members on CMS usage and best practices, ensuring everyone is equipped to succeed.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for CMS procedures and guidelines, facilitating knowledge sharing and consistency.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
    • Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (desired).
    • Familiarity with SEO tools and practices, driving content optimization and performance.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, fostering collaboration and clear understanding.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting objectives.
    • Problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), tracking performance and user behavior.
    • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles, enhancing user experience and engagement.
    • Experience with content migration and data import/export, streamlining processes.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
