Senior Server Business Strategy and Analytics Director

The Role:
We seek an experienced, analytical leader to drive our server business unit strategy, responsible for server strategy modeling and analysis. This role will directly support decision-making across the Board of Directors, CEO staff, server staff, and other strategic forums. You will own the end-to-end process of identifying relevant internal and external data sources, implementing model structural design and sensitivity, and maintaining current analysis. Effective coordination with other strategy team members and the server staff is essential to aggregate ideas, develop analytics hypotheses, and create visual presentations of results. Additionally, you will further develop and apply your subject matter expertise on the data center market and our business unit strategy in development and review of data analytics. This leadership position requires excellent communication and coordination skills to lead across product, sales, and marketing organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute a monthly process to review quarterly earnings across defined sets of customers, partners, and competitors in the server market
• Execute a quarterly process to incorporate market inputs into established TAM/SAM model infrastructure to publish detailed forecasts for the server CPU market
• Improve the TAM/SAM model infrastructure to reduce time required to produce forecasts and improve explanation of changes in the market to the server business segments
• Manage cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing) to develop data-driven analysis and conclusions for server market sizing and TAM/SAM analysis
• Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders to improve efficiencies related to the development, review, and approval of market trends and customer account TAM
• Partner effectively to drive creative thinking and problem-solving that translates into actionable, market-directed initiatives for the business unit to achieve its goals
• Provide feedback to help the server business unit develop improved processes, market understanding, clear strategic priorities, and actionable plans
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience and location (Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California)
