About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Thoracic Surgery team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing thoracic surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing thoracic surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest thoracic surgery techniques and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a thoracic surgery or related setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
