Job Title: Registered Nurse - Thoracic Surgery

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Thoracic Surgery team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing thoracic surgery.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing thoracic surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
