We are seeking a highly motivated and talented summer intern to join our Quantitative Pharmacology group within the Drug Safety and Pharmacology department for Summer 2025.

Job Description

The intern will apply advanced AI/ML techniques, such as deep learning/neural networks or physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), for PKPD and mechanistic/QSP modeling.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test neural network and other AI/ML models.
  • Explore the use of deep learning/neural networks for PKPD/QSP modeling.
  • Analyze relevant scientific literature on neural networks, PKPD/QSP modeling, and drug development.
  • Communicate methods and results to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience with deep learning/neural networks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Matlab, Python, R, or Julia.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML techniques like random forest, NLP, and SVM.
