Draper Labs seeks highly skilled Aerospace Systems Modelers to join our team in Cambridge, MA. As a leading R&D company, we drive innovation by developing complex aerospace systems using SysML language, tool, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute system engineering lifecycle assignments independently.
  • Apply systems thinking to drive solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve program goals.
  • Develop novel flight control systems, guidance hardware, and navigation software for next-generation missiles, spacecraft, and autonomous vehicles.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and Quality Management System processes.

Required Expertise:

  • Practical experience with simulation-based performance analysis.
  • Proficiency with modeling and simulation, computer language coding, descriptive modeling (e.g., SysML), STPA, and/or other engineering analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, cyber/security, comms/encryption, threat modeling, or other technologies may be required.

Work Environment:

This position is onsite at our Cambridge, MA campus, with a hybrid work option.
