Our Quantitative Pharmacology group is a dynamic and innovative team that is dedicated to developing and applying advanced AI/ML techniques for PKPD and mechanistic/QSP modeling. As an AI Graduate Intern, you will work closely with our team to develop and test neural network and other AI/ML models, explore the uses of deep learning/neural networks for PKPD/QSP modeling, and communicate methods and results to relevant stakeholders within the company.
About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge field of pharmacology and drug development. You will have the chance to work on a real-world project that focuses on applying advanced AI/ML techniques, such as deep learning/neural networks or physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) for PKPD and mechanistic/QSP modeling for optimal dose and regimen selection in the clinical phases of drug development.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in AI/ML techniques, programming languages such as Matlab, Python, R, Julia, or related, and experience with packages like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras. Additionally, you should be familiar with other AI/ML techniques, such as random forest, NLP, and support vector machines (SVM).
Benefits:
This internship offers a range of benefits, including exposure to real-world applications of AI/ML in drug development, hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in drug development through AI and machine learning. You will also have the chance to establish connections with Regeneron's diverse set of employee resource groups and participate in professional development sessions while enjoying lots of free food and swag.
Salary:
The hourly rate range for this internship is $17.90-$50.90 per hour, depending on your level of education and degree program. We want someone who is able to commit to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks from the end of May/early June through August.
