Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance is a key member of the Heritage Hotels & Resorts team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties. This role requires a strong background in facilities management, with a focus on ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage facility functions, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Engage with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance of assigned property or facility.
  • Develop budgets and long-range facility plans based on projected growth and needs.
  • Oversee the functioning of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
  • Supervise facilities staff, including facilities supervisors, technicians, and groundskeepers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility in facilities management.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification may be required.
  • OSHA Forklift or Scissor Lift certification may be required.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities software and MS Office required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have current, unrestricted driver's license and be able to maintain company group insurance.
