Medical Director for Primary Care

The Medical Director for Primary Care will oversee the provision of community-oriented primary care at El Centro Family Health. Under the direction of the Regional Medical Manager and Medical Director, this role will ensure the delivery of high-quality medical care to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine and experience in leading healthcare teams. They will be responsible for conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and providing guidance to residents and health professional students.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved and accredited school of medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board certification in family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics
- Licensure to practice medicine in New Mexico
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-residency experience in primary health care
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/ ACLS certification
