Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide outpatient services within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and professional development.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution recognized by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).

It is essential to either possess or be eligible for a Speech-Language Pathologist license in the relevant state within the initial 90 days of employment. Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) must be mentored by a state-licensed and ASHA-certified SLP employed by Parkview Health.

Licensure Requirements:
If you are a Clinical Fellow, obtaining state licensure within 18 months of starting your CFY is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) if not currently in their CFY.

Certifications:
Certification in CPR is required, or candidates must achieve certification within the first 90 days of employment. All certifications and licenses must be maintained according to their expiration dates.

Physical Requirements:
The role may require lifting up to 50 pounds, assisting with weights of up to 100 pounds, and pushing up to 300 pounds.

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Flexibility to work at various locations as assigned is also required.
