About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as a Senior Research Faculty Position in Cancer Cell Signaling and Metabolism. The successful candidate will be a key member of our research community, contributing to the advancement of our understanding of cancer biology and developing innovative solutions to combat this disease.

Responsibilities
  • Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in cancer cell signaling and metabolism, with a focus on lipid and other cancer-related metabolism, integrative genomics, tumor immunology, and chemical biology.
  • Teaching: Share expertise and knowledge with students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty members, providing guidance and mentorship in laboratory research opportunities.
  • Service: Participate in institutional committees, study sections, review groups, and editorial boards, contributing to the advancement of cancer research and education.
Requirements
  • Terminal degree in basic, translational, or clinical sciences.
  • Extensive cancer-relevant research experience.
  • Nationally recognized scholarly/research portfolio with a strong track-record of continuous NCI funding.
  • Extensive publication experience.
  • Proven trainee and faculty mentorship skills.
  • Track record working in multi-disciplinary fields.
  • Experience in, and coordination of, collaborative grants and managing trans-disciplinary research.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a matrix environment within academic medicine.
  • Proven success in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Established track-record of leading inter- and multi-disciplinary teams as principal investigator of multi-investigator projects such as P01s and SPOREs.
