Position Overview:

  • Assisting the sustainment team with the AN/BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare (EW) system.
  • Evaluating component lifecycles and proposing necessary corrective measures for essential materials.
  • Focusing on the reliability, maintainability, and sustainability of the systems in place.
  • Assessing the designs of electrical components and systems related to Submarine EW Systems.
  • Reviewing and suggesting modifications for sustainable component lifecycles.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, reviewing, and updating lifecycle prediction trends for critical material components.
  • Conducting thorough failure analyses and presenting your findings to the team lead.
  • Identifying reliability enhancements for essential materials.
  • Preparing technical documentation to ensure the sustainability of critical material components.
  • Providing lifecycle support to the In-Service Engineering team.
  • Recognizing and recommending corrective actions for supportability challenges.
  • Assisting in the enhancement of existing Submarine EW Systems.
  • Reviewing Fleet failure reports and monitoring materials that frequently fail.
  • Submitting regular technical status updates.
Requirements & Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • The capability to adhere to standard operating procedures while effectively multitasking.
  • Excellent communication skills.
