Job Overview

Position Summary

As a Warehouse Associate at NEPW Logistics, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, sorting, and managing inventory within our distribution center. This role involves operating lift-trucks and performing various essential warehouse functions.

Work Schedule

We offer two different work schedules to accommodate our employees:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate lift-trucks for loading and unloading shipments.
  • Replace propane tanks on lift-trucks as needed.
  • Accurately process, package, and ship customer orders.
  • Maintain organized stock and inventory levels.
  • Inspect products for any defects or damages.
  • Review incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse space for efficiency.
  • Receive and properly store incoming inventory items.
  • Verify and fulfill customer invoices.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Provide suggestions for improving warehouse operations.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong focus on safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse data systems.
  • Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Capability to lift or move heavy items.
  • Dependable and self-driven.
  • Detail-oriented with effective communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to specified weight limits.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing 10 lbs.
